After a bad experience with a different countertop supplier that had poor communication and kept delaying my job, I decided to give Q Stone a call. I sent him pictures and the dimensions of our space and he gave me pricing in minutes. He came out to measure early the next morning and had the countertops installed within days.
The countertops turned out great and he even went above and beyond to install the dishwasher bracket and multiple brackets for the sink. Great communication, very reasonable prices, and very fast turnaround. We will definitely be going with Q Stone for future projects!

We originally used Q Stone for our kitchen countertops in 2016 and had such a good experience that we went back to them for our recent kitchen remodel.
What really stood out was Radu's communication throughout the entire process. He sent us photos of our Taj Mahal quartzite slabs before fabrication and caught that the warehouse had sent the wrong slab. Because he noticed it early, we were able to get it corrected before any work was done.
Radu also showed us exactly how the slab would be laid out on each section of the kitchen, which gave us confidence that the veining and most beautiful parts of the stone would be used in the right places.
The installation was flawless, and we couldn't be happier with the final result. It's rare to find this level of service and attention to detail. The fact that we came back almost 10 years later says everything about how much we trust Q Stone's work.
We're so happy with the results that we already plan to use Q Stone again for our stepson's condo and our half bath project in the coming month.

Very excited to add yet another 5 star review for Q Stone! From start to finish, Radu made the process very easy and provided incredible customer service. We had to order our slabs and he kept track of when they arrived, which was so helpful. At our measurement appointment, he had thoughtful design suggestions that would work well with our space. On installation day, Radu and Roy were so professional and were able to work around some plumbing problems that arose. They truly went above and beyond to ensure the install was perfect - and it was. Radu and his team did an excellent job installing gorgeous quartzite for us in our kitchen! From start to finish, he was easy to communicate with, transparent, expeditious, flexible, and fair. My husband and I DIY'd a lot of our kitchen so he worked with us on timing and coordination and with other trades. A second contractor attempted to push quartz on us - yes, I understand it's less maintenance, etc., but I got the impression the quartzite was the other contractor's problem, not mine. I appreciate that Radu did not do this. He brought the mountain to our house, and perhaps only someone with 25 years of experience can do it like he did. Our quartzite counters and backsplash are simply gorgeous. They are in our Royal Oak house for our lifetimes, and we could not be happier.

Q Stone would get five stars from me simply based on their service and workmanship- beautiful, precise cutting and polishing, quick turnaround, efficient and knowledgeable installation, good problem solving on the spot for all of the little problems that come with an old house, and use of their own custom brackets to mount the sink that are way more robust than the hardware provided. But Radu and his crew went beyond that. When he came to do the initial measurment, he pointed out a flaw in my kitchen design that would cause a lot of trouble down the road. I wouldn't have known about it. Radu could have simply shrugged, said nothing, and sold me a countertop. Instead, he took the risk of losing a $3K job in order to tell the truth and let me know about the problem. As it turned out, I was able to work out a new plan that was better than before, Radu came back and gave me the thumbs up, and I had my countertops less than two weeks later. Q Stone is not only competent, efficient, and skilled... they are HONEST and really care about the customer. That's a rarity and I hope everyone who is considering new counters gives Q Stone their business. If I could give them six stars, I would!

We had Q stone install new countertops and backsplash a few months ago. I first called a few months prior and spoke to Radu, who was as pleasant and helpful that day as he was every interaction we had following. He was so easy to get ahold of, always willing to answer our questions, had very reasonable pricing, and did an amazing job on the install. The crew he brought with him were also very friendly, and they were in and out quickly. We’ll be using them again in a few years for a bathroom remodel. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
See pic below. For reference, we got calacatta Monaco. We loved it in the warehouse and then were panicking a little at home that it would be too gray against our light taupe cabinets. But it turned out to be the perfect. It doesn’t read super gray but also isn’t stark white, and the veining is beautiful and interesting without being overwhelming (or something we’ll be sick of in 5 years)
Note: candle soot stains quartz. Badly. Thankfully Radu suggested barkeepers and we eventually got it out!

The best in the business!! They were communicative, answered all of my questions, and the counters are perfect. I was in search of a simple quartz, and these are perfect. They installed super fast, were so professional, and even installed an under-mount sink that we LOVE! They even gave me a bracket for my dishwasher for easier install, and it was a lifesaver saver. The price was the cherry on top, some of the best around! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Just another 5 star review for this phenomenal company, Radu is extremely good at what he does, not only was he recommended by a friend but every countertop supplier store we went to, also sang his praises because it’s as simple as that, he knows what’s he’s doing. Not only was it a straightforward process with him, he also somehow got us in 2 weeks before the expected installation date and then the installation process was a breeze! In and out less than 1.5 hours. There is a lot of creative trust put into the fabricator, how or what they’ll bring out in the slab that you chose, but hands down he did it even better than I imagined it could be. Thank you Radu!!

Outstanding customer service, craftsmanship, installation and attention to details. I built my custom home in 2012. Radu and his team at Q Stone installed all of the granite countertops in my bathrooms, utility room, kitchen counters and a granite backsplash in the kitchen. From start to finish Radu was there to help me choose my granite and worked with me throughout the process to customize my installation. Recently I needed to install a new under mounted sink and contacted Radu to help me find one that would fit in my granite countertop. He offered to order one for me and he even offered to deliver it the next day.
13 years after working with him on my original product he was willing to help me again. That's great customer service! I would definitely be a return customer for my next granite installation project.

From start to finish working with Radu and Q Stone was great. Radu showed up as promised to measure and 10 days later they were installing our counter tops and our full back splash was installed a couple days later. The craftsmanship was perfection! Radu and his crew were meticulous about covering and protecting floors and cleaning up afterwards. They were very polite and a pleasure to work with. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product and would highly recommend Radu and Q Stone.

From my very first interaction with Q-Stone I was impressed !
I had researched several Quartz installation companies, and decided to pursue my purchase thru Q-Stone because they had great Google ratings.
I sent an initial inquiry to the Q-Stone website and within minutes had a reply from the owner/operator Radu.
Throughout the process, Radu's communication was outstanding with same day Emails or Texts, answering all of my questions & requests immediately.
Radu connected us with his supply store in Wixom (MSI) and we were able to go to the warehouse several times looking at Full Slabs of Quartz & Granite. Note - The full slabs can be quite different than the small samples. At WSI you are able to pick out & tag your specific slab.
We originally wanted Quartz due to our fears of Granite maintenance. But fell in love with a particular Slab of Granite. Radu assured us that taking care of the Granite would not be a big deal.
Radu also hooked us up with his Kitchen Supply Store (Strictly Kitchen in Livonia). I went to their showroom and picked out my Sink, Soap Dispenser, and sink accessories. Radu purchased the sink, soap dispenser, and accessories for me, in order to save me money by using his supplier discount.
Watching Radu & his team install the very large / single piece countertop was like watching a ballet. They have these rolling carts which help transport the heavy slabs. Then the cart rotates the slab from a vertical position to a horizontal position, then the slab is slid onto the cabinets. It was amazing to watch. Radu told me that his company was probably the only one in metro Detroit that would build my countertop from 1-piece (no seams).
I also had a special request for Radu - I asked him to make me a matching Granite Table Top, to replace my previous Formica table top. Radu advised me how to reinforce my table for the additional weight, and used my existing table top as the Template for the new Granite table top.
On top of all this - our slab had 2 dark spots that we did not notice at the factory. Radu came back to our house after the installation to clear/remove the dark spots. We were willing to live with the 2 dark spots because they were not very prominent. But Radu insisted to come back to make sure that we were 100% satisfied.
Our interaction with Q-Stone was fantastic from Beginning to End.

He has done work for us at three different houses ranging from a full kitchen at our house, a full kitchen and two baths at our old house, a powder room at another old house, and just did a full kitchen at my parents house. What a great experience! Radu was the most attentive and knowledgeable contractor in our remodeling project. His suggestions were spot on, and we loved the quartz selection to pick from. I'm so happy that I chose Radu, and his assistant Roy, to install new granite countertops and sinks in my kitchen and master bath. It wasn't a big job, I live in a 1200 square foot condo in downtown Royal Oak. I've had major demos and remodels done in the past when I owned large homes in CA, so I was familiar with the process and the time it takes to do the job right.

I had a wonderful experience throughout the process of getting an estimate until the final install. Radu was quick to respond, very informative, and friendly. I’ve added a few photos of the quartz countertops and single bowl undermount sink showing their work. I’m extremely happy about the installation. It’s a work in progress but the next steps are to pick and install the backsplash which Radu gave me his recommendation of where to go.

Radu, my contractor was on time for the quote and the installation. I obtained three quotes and his was the best value for the money and so much lower than the other vendors. There was a wide selection of granite slabs to choose from! He removed and took away the old counters and sink, and I didn’t have to deal with it. Q Stone did a great job dealing with the existing conditions of an older home and ensuring that everything went well. They were punctual, clean and protected my floors when they brought in the counters. They did such a nice job on the seams I have had people ask me where they are located. Radu was very easy to work with. He was professional and communicated very well throughout the whole process. He came out to measure once and then I changed my mind at the last minute about how i wanted an extension cut, he had no issue coming back to measure again. Install was quick and he was extremely careful not to damage any of the walls or floor while bringing materials and supplies in, which is no surprise because he was the only contractor to come in and take his shoes off for the measure (I appreciated that). I would recommend him to anyone who wants quality work at a good price.

We had quartz countertops installed today to replace existing dated granite. They are absolutely beautiful. They did an amazing job on our counters. From measure to install was about a week. The guys are super professional & clean, and showed up on time. They put down flooring to walk on, as well as, cleaned up after themselves. I am very impressed with the service.
Also, if you were debating to get the backsplash with counters, highly recommend to do it. We wish we did since the walls had to be cut for fitting (we have uneven walls).

The company came recommended by a friend who said they are professional and perfectionists. I called and had them to the house for pricing, and went to the warehouse to look at their product. I was Impressed from beginning to end with this whole transaction. I had them do my kitchen and all my bathrooms. They were in and out in one day after the initial measuring day. Everything turned out beautiful and his attention to detail was far greater than I expected. He was able to match the veins in counter going up through the back splash. This is truly the best granite fabricator in this area. Radu is very knowledgeable and professional. From the beginning when I was just considering stone types, grades and colors, to the final installation, he answered very single questions I have (and tons of questions. lol) clearly and patiently. When I selected a slab that I liked and it was delivered, he caught the defects in the surface. With customer satisfaction as his first priority, he did not proceed with it just because I personally already selected the slab lacking knowledge about the surface condition. He reached his supplier directly to address it and obtained a solution on my behalf. I loved that he called me to report the problem he observed and then presented a solution (which is a better deal as it's an upgrade as compensation for the inconvenience). For me, this is the typical trait of a business partner: being proactive, instead of reactive. There is no wonder that I will only work with Radu in the future and will refer to every one that I know of similar job needs.
I observed how highly skillful and attentive to details he and his crew were during installation. With the flawless fabrication, and excellent installation, I have a beautiful kitchen that earns a lot of compliments!
He also followed up with me on my kitchen and whether I have any questions or concerns a couple days after the job was completed. I really enjoyed the whole process, which is no stress because of his excellent communication and service. I can tell that he truly cares about each of his customers and takes pride in his work too!
If there were more than 5 stars I could rate, I would do so!

I would not even consider another place to go when it comes to getting new countertops. We had new quartz countertops placed on May 7, 2019. We have had other projects and estimates done on our house and I am being honest when I say that the communication, response time and dedication to our job was the best we have ever had. Radu was so great to work with and he was thorough and prompt in answering any questions I had. There were no holes in the contract and he was open and honest with communication. Just finished building and had Q stone install the granite in the whole house, and couldn't be happier! Radu and his crew did an amazing job, and the counters look perfect. The attention to detail on the cuts, seams, edging, and polishing are second to none. If you know anything about contractors these days, you know it's hard to find ones that put in the time to perform the work as if it were there own house, but that's exactly what I got with Q Stone. They are also one of the only contractors that I used that cleaned up after finishing the install (most leave a huge mess for you). Bottom line is that if you are looking to have any kind of tile or stone work done, look no further than Q STone!

I can't say enough good things about Radu and his team. Our granite kitchen counter was very tricky due to the U-shape counter top in a small kitchen and the irregularities of a 100-year-old house. Not to mention the fit had to be perfect because the backsplash was only 1/4" thick tile. Q Stone Inc. truly went the extra mile to make it the best it could be, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. I recommend to everyone that needs granite or quartz. We just finished our kitchen and went with Q Stone inc. (Radu) for our countertops. Radu was very quick to get back with us when we inquired about getting our countertops done and he was out within the week to get actual measurements. He uses MSI for countertop material and we went with the Quartz countertop called Calacatta Vicenza. We are so happy with our choice and working with Radu was so easy from the quote to the installation. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for new countertops in your house. We love ours and him and his team did a great job installing!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Radu responded quickly to my initial email and was able to measure and give an estimate just as fast. His prices were excellent and his selection is huge. The free sink that came with our countertop was the exact model that we wanted with no up charge like some other contractors we contacted. Our countertops were ready for install within a week of our color selection and install took only half a day. On the day of installation Radu and his workers were careful to lay down runners and mats to protect our floor. He was meticulous in the installation and finish of the project and with the cleanup after. I will definitely go with Radu for any future projects and recommend him to anyone looking for the best job at the best price.
